because its such a shit-scailing subject i estimate the raw mark to be around 85%+ for a band 6. my mate last year accelerated his raw school mark was around 88 which went to a 92% but then again that was our school

it varies each year due to the quality of the candidates doing this course. because this subject scales negatively, you would predict that you would need a high mark to get into a band 6. mayb around high 80s. but also to get a band 6 you would need to rely on how well your classmates are doing because if they dont do well and uve got a bad rank, then all hopes lost. unless you are ranked first

We had a HSC marker marking our trial, so judging by the marks in our trials from that standard, and the number who got a band 6 in the HSC, it'd be ~85+

i think it'd be AT LEAST 85% + .. only because it IS such a crappy scaling subject - but you never know, that could (and does) go up/down yearly.. it's all relative

Umm, I thought aligning and scalign were two separate processed. Hence even if a subject may have poor scaling, it might still be extremely difficult and so the raw mark for a band six may be low

^ there's no real way to gauge so I'd say if that's what you got in CSSA, expect something similar.
