Hello all,
I'm currently studying a B Science degree majoring in Genetics.
Recently, I have contemplated switching to an engineering degree - Biomedical, but have not completed the correct math unit that is stated in the guidelines ("should have completed math1131"). Also I have missed the IPT for S2 this year, so this is in regards to S1 2018.
With a WAM of 68, I surpass the required WAM for engineering transfers (65). It is just my math requirement that may be an issue.
I was contemplating taking MATH1131 this semester, as there are still places left, but I am worried that it may negatively impact my WAM which I cannot afford at this point as it is still rather low.
Would some people be able to offer me some suggestions as to what I should do?
Would trying to do an IPT when the transfer window opens up be ideal?
Or should I try and change to some easier WAM boosting subjects this semester (if there are spots left) and apply through UAC in November/December?
