Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Biomedical Engineering are two completely different degrees.
Science is incredibly broad whereas biomed is specialised.
I wanted to do something with tissue engineering or similar and was unsure of whether to do biotech., BEng/BSci or BEng/MBiomed. I thought a masters would be more useful, plus there must be an industry demand for the course to exist and having proper accredtitaion will get your foot in the door withouth having to do higher degrees.
This is a personal decision and if you're not interested in biomedical engineering, then don't pick the course! Gman's science interest lies no where near biomed whereas mine does - so I chose bioemd... I still have no idea what it's going to be like - my opinions may change after a few lectures...
