Can anyone else provide some insight into this? I'm tossing up between pursuing either a Commerce or Engineering degree, or both. Anyone on these forums currently studying either of these degrees?

Commerce is a decent degree for any accounting or finance role. It has the most available grad jobs and a variety of options. Having said that, to get the very "best" and most competitive jobs in the field (i.e. in finance) you'll need to be a gun. Think Investment Banking or Management Consulting (Mckinsey and the likes). The best part though, these roles are also open to people who study other degrees including engineering and if you do engo and have SOLID marks, you'll be fairly attractive to recruiters. It also depends on personal preference but pick someone you think you'll do well in.
