Does anyone here know if it's true that if you come first place in nsw in a subject, that you get $5000?

i know u get this big certificate thing.... and a voucher from the primier.. but not sure abt amount.....


say 2 ppl get full marks in everything internal and in the hsc... but one goes to say ruse and the other go to some annoynomous public skool... who will get it? the ruse guy cuz skool is betta?

It shouldn't matter wat the school is, they should both get it, otherwise...major unfairness!!!

my best frend came first in the state for 1 subject she didnt get anything exept for award.

both, provided they both came first in the internal assessment. because then their internal would go to 100, as well as their external, therefore their mark would be 100
