Is MATH1141 stressful? (1 Viewer)

I have a combined 3u/4u mark of 181 so I supposedly fit the criteria for Math1141, however, I'm doing combined computer science and commerce so I'm at uni 5 days a week and I'm also doing discrete maths for sem 1 (which I am not too excited for) so will it be too stressful/hard for me to take Math1141 as well? Is it that important for my degree to take a higher maths course, or would it be a better choice to just take Math1131?

1141 isn't that bad tbh but you do have to be a gun

You should give it a go. I recall students were given the option to drop down to MATH1131 some time well within the semester.

Some people in MATH1141 are doing it because they got 190+ (however don't want to do actuarial so aren't doing MATH1151). So ask them for help.

But if what D94 said is true, always go for drop down instead of attempt to go up where possible.
