first of all. theres no such thing as 99.99. with regard to ur questions (assuming it is genuine), u do not need a UAI that high to get into medicine. ppl get in with UAIs in the 80s provided that they are rural applicants. i dont think 58 will suffice, im sorry. however, if you undertake a year of tertiary study, some unis only look at your scores for that 1 year. so if you can do well in that year, your chances have just significantly improved. good luck.
