I have chosen the following subjects:

- General Maths
- English Advanced
- English Extension 1
- Biology
- Geography
- Business Studies
- Economics

Is it possible for me to become a child psychiatrist with a bachelor of psychology from UNSW? Is it necessary to do a degree in Medicine to become a psychiatrist?

You need to be a medical doctor, hence you will need to study medicine.

Agreed with the above, psychiatrist is a essentially a specialisation within medicine, although there may be overlaps with their content with psychology, they are the only ones allowed to prescribe drugs.
