Compare to TPC at Tafe which one is better. The career counselor at Tafe said the UPP (University Preparation Program) will not prepare me for the necessary skills to finish my degree, but since she is from Tafe so she might be bias without realizing it herself.

According to what I've read, it would be better to go for UPP. The whole idea of saying "will not prepare me for the necessary skills to finish my degree" is a load of crap and is commonly said many times without much thought. UPP seems to be more orientated towards your degree, and after all it's the university itself who organises it. That's just my intake on it though...

Both of them however can be used to get you into the course you want*
