my friends does [catholic school] .. because every year.. the day before the yr 12 formal... every one in the school gets a day off

On the thursday (25th).

We officially finish on the 25th (Thursday).
We have a Year 12 Farewell Assembly with guard of honour etc (Year 11's) and that is the last day of term for the entire school.

We then take the entire day off to practice liturgical stuff/entrance for the Church/Graduation Mass, and later that evening we'll be having our Year 12 Graduation Mass at 7pm.
