x-y+2=0 and y^2=4px

y=x+2 re arrange line equation and sub into the parabola equation.

(x+2)^2 = 4px

giving a quadratic equation when expanded?

x^2 +4x + 4 = 4px

x^2 +(4-4p)x + 4 Is this the correct way to combine the x terms?
