im going to be using textbooks for understanding topics and applying in past papers.Understaning maths is good from learning from but not good questions unless its from the level 3 ones
understanding has quite a bit of examples and all questions are sorted by difficulty so thats pretty handyDo you think Understanding is any good? Not written by a Maths specialist.
Imo, still okay. Not as good as some others but they have simple easy to understand examples which are good for thr average band 4/5 studentsDo you think Understanding is any good? Not written by a Maths specialist.
reason?I'm going to contain my rage and will respond honestly and without bias. Maths in focus is only good for understanding basic fundamentals of a topic (only for the very hard topics like projectile, SHM, binomial) and then cambridge and fitzpatrick are good to use as they help you consolidate your knowledge through the abundance of questions they offer.
I highly would NOT recommend Understand book at all. If you struggle at maths use maths in focus and then ease into the questions of cambridge.
this is for 2u mathIf you want band 6 please do not rely on MIF. You need cambridge
The questions are basic and non wordy. They are nothing like the hard exam questions. Hence they will not prepare you as well as Cambridge.reason?
does cambridge have a 2u bookThe questions are basic and non wordy. They are nothing like the hard exam questions. Hence they will not prepare you as well as Cambridge.
