JMP s1 cutoff score (1 Viewer)

So my S1 isnt very competitive,but im rural and the rural threshold is 50. Has anyone heard of someone getting into JMP with a rural s1 score of 56??

Applicants who have completed the HSC, or its equivalent, while
attending a school in a designated rural or remote location will be
considered for entry under the Bachelor of Medical Science / Doctor of
Medicine Rural/Remote Bonus Scheme. To be eligible for consideration
under this scheme a candidate must achieve an ATAR of 91.40 or
better. Applicants whose home address is in a rural or remote location,
but who completed Year 12 in a non-rural/remote location are not
eligible to be considered under this scheme, and must achieve an ATAR
of 94.30.
The JMP Programs Admission Committee is responsible for determining
eligibility for consideration under the Rural/Remote Bonus Scheme. The
Committee’s decision is final.

As long as you're rural and you pass the 50-50-50 cutoff, You 100% are going to get an offer with that s1. For rural applicants, whoever passes the 50-50-50 rule pretty much gets an interview given they pass the GPA/ATAR threshold too.

Um saying anyone who passes the 50-50-50 gets an interview is pretty idealistic. that pretty much means a 60thile can get in (granted they do well in the interview)

i thought the s1 cutoff for an interview was 61 last year? that would make sense, since they'd probably only take the 10% of S1 scores (61 is 90th%ile according to the percentile curves given under your results this year).

i believe the rule of thumb is that unis give out 3x as many interviews as there are spots. So that's 510 interview applications given out for UoN. hightly doubtful they'd hand out interviews to 60th%ilers

Furthermore, the cutoff for last year was 59 which was around ~84%ile on last year's cutoff HOWEVER the 59 cutoff was for non-rural applicants. Rural's got offer as long as they passed 50-50-50 you morons.
