Just a quick question on ATAR (1 Viewer)

If i failed (less than 50%) my 2U english school assessments and everyone does well in my school so that i'm practically ranked last after completing 40% of the school assessments, is there still a chance that i can get a band 6 in the final hsc for 2u english?

and will i still be able to get an ATAR of 96+ if i do well in my other 8 units?

If you mean you failed ALL of your assessments for English and you only have 10 units, you're pretty effed ATAR wise.

You defintely need to pull your rank up to get 96+, what rank you should be looking at is determined by the rank of your school. If your school is ranked 500 and you're coming last, it's probable you're fucked unless you catch up ALOT.

actually i did okay for the first assessment which was worth 15%. got 30/36. but the second assessment which was worth 25%, i got lower than 50%. but i think my ranking is near the bottom of the grade.
i do maths ext 2, chemistry and economics. i'm doing alright in those ones.

Well, you've still got 60% of your school assessments left. If your school is in the top 20, you'll do fine. Just make sure you get really good marks in your future English assessments. Aim for 90 and above. Otherwise, it'll be difficult to get 96.
