For the increase in pressure for gases = decrease in volume. Does the moles shift to side with more moles or less moles ?

As Kamine said, check if it is a closed system, if so the volume will remain constant and the pressure will change not the volume, which it is most of the time. Pressure is caused by the collision of gas molecules with the walls of the container, therefore to reduce the pressure you need to reduce the number of gas molecules colliding with the walls and thus the number of gas molecules in the container. Therefore it will shift to the side with less gas molecules.
