Hey is anyone else going to the Legal Studies study day at Sutherland on the 31st May. My school is going, but i haven't heard of any others.

r these the ones run by the LSA?

i dunno..so close to trials, might be a waste to kill off a saturday at lectures?

i went there.. didnt find it particularly helpful... i thought the world order was was great but everything else was pretty average.:mad1:

The family one was pretty boring. There wasn't much that he spoke about that wasn't in the booklet.
The only good part of it was the booklet as it is very helpful for all of the topics that i do. We didn't really need to attend the lectures as most of what they said is straight from the booklets.

Yes! I was distracted for most of family law - some boys school kept moving seats and talking throughout three quarters of the lecture, and then finally left before it finished. The lectures overall were alright, but I think the booklet itself would've been worth the twenty dollars. :)

I went to the Student Lecture Day by LSA at Westmead on Sat 28th July and it was very good :) Great for an overview of what u need to know, and advice from hsc markers/teachers/lecturers about how best to answer a question - valuable advice because most of us know the content, what's harder is answering the question properly and time management skills
