i srsly dont get this thing...
so far i screwed up all my assessments but if i do a lot beta in the external one.. does that mean i still gav a pretty good chance of getting high uai????

You need to rank really well. And the gaps between you and the other students should be small.

Just concentrate on getting your ranks up.
