probably the main dates to be aware of are:
The formation of the Uniting Church
Wik
Mabo
WW1 and WW2
Vietnam
Federation (!!)
Inclusion of Aboriginal people in teh census
dates relating to religion and education (Goulburn etc)
Other dates they will give you (hopefully) but you should be able to use teh above to then place anythiing else in context
BTW you can work out the dates yourself...if you dont know them by now!
My opinion...stressing about dates for the
MC ->probably not the most important thing to know (id be looking at knowing them more for the short answers if it were me) as it would be a poorly written question to give a MC where the answer was a date-eg when was the UC formed? a)=1976, b)=1977 etc- I would be hoping that they would require knowledge of content to answer a question, not memorisation of dates
If you know the content in thesyllabus (in particular the later parts of FS 1 and FS2), you should know your key dates for teh MC
