Hi,
I've studied all the chapters for science, but am having trouble studying for long response. What could be some potential long response topics or questions?

thanks :)

Not really, i guess looking at the past papers is the closest to what it might be, but the topic this year seems to be environment.

A very common one that appeared in the practice papers is something along the lines of how some scientific process (e.g. genetic engineering) impacts on society

Yes, usually it tells you to identify a problem, either with the environment or something like biotechnology and asks to discuss it's impact on society.

Easiest way to answer it is

1. The problem and it's definition i.e. what it is. (Problem)
2. What it's caused by eg. if humans contribute to it. (Cause)
3.The impact on society (effect)
4. Ways to "resolve" these things. (resolution)
5. Opinion, although this isn't necessary. (statement)
