Does anyone know what techniques are used in the bokk Lord of the Rings Return of the Kings? Ive read abour a quater of the book and cant find a single technique or quote which realtes to a physical journey. And also what other journey is involved in the book?

About other journeys in the book I would say Frodos inner struggle for power whil he decides whether to destroy the Ring or keep it??

I suggest you flick towards the end of the book when Frodo is returning home, there are many quotes about the effect of his physical journey on his physical and mental state. Also, there is the very long journey of Aragorn in claiming the throne.
