It's been a long time since I've studied Coppola's 'Lost In Translation' and I can only really remember the basics. It's probably a good thing that I've started studying for the E1 HSC now rather than later on, or I'd really be in a pickle!

Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you guys would be able to help me out. How are we meant to approach the local vs global in Lost in Translation? I can see that Bob and Charlotte are disconnected from the modern world/culture around them (to different extents) but I'm sure there's more to it.

Sorry if I'm not making sense..:spzz:

In short, any insights into Lost in Translation with regards to Navigating The Global would be much appreciated.
