As the title suggests I'm interested in whether the majority of science subjects

(particularly the maths related subs) are marked using the bellcurve scaling

scheme? Any information would be appreciated

There is no way to be sure how they mark it, but there is a standardising process involved.

There is no hard fast rule about having to mark to a bell curve anymore, though some people still do.
