My major project is based on the Battle/Siege of Alesia, and i was wondering for starters if anyone else is doing this topic?
If yes/no, what questions of historiography would be best to incorporate into my essay? Mind you that Julius Caesar is the main primary source for the battle, so bias and all is already arisen and completed. How should i go about with comparison of secondary sources, seeing that all of their judgments are based on either Caesar or their own judgments, so is my whole essay just going to be on bias?
My question is: What happened at the Siege of Alesia?
