Hey everyone...well since its around time for applying for tertiary ed. (well in VIC anyway) just wanted to know what its like. I mean knowing that you're leaving 'school' and heading off to something that will contribute siginificantly to your own future...did that feel a tad scary?

Unsure of how things are going to turn out and all...i dunno, i might be a little too worried about it here... :(

Thoughts, experiences?

Thanksss!

Sure it's a nervous expereince, but its a positive one!

It will take you a little bit to get used to the new environment, but if you keep an open mind, keep smiling and don't be a tool - you'll be fine at uni.

Remember there are a couple thousand students at your uni in the exact same position as you - so everyone is in the exact situation. Most of the lecturers are aware of first years, and they pretty much clear everything up asap so you can settle in quickly.
