I am an international applicant who wants to apply to Masters coursework in Australia. I would like to apply for Master of engineering course. But one thing has confused me a lot. I have seen that many Australian universities offer two distinct courses:
1. Master of Engineering (MEng)
2. Master of Engineering Science (MEngSc)
Is MEngSc less prestigious than MEng?
What is the main reason of creating these two separate engineering degrees? Why not only keep MEng?
I think that academically MEngSc is inferior to MEng course. Am I correct?
I have already a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree and my future plan is to complete PhD in Electrical Engineering and to become a professor and reseracher. I already have publisehd a research paper in IEEE. So, which one should I study - MEng or MEngSc?
Please guide me. Thanks.
