Is anyone elses worth this much? Or are my teachers just bastards making this course failable in 2 tests?

Mine was worth 40% last year for 2u, and this year its 40% for both 3 and 4u, and 3u we've run into the same problem you have, due to only three tests, but its worked to my advantage as I fluked both of them

Don't think of it as 40% of maths, just think of it as 4% of your total HSC. Means less stress.

isn't it 20%? (technically) i.e. 50% internal and 50% external = whole hsc.

btw. both of my trials are worth 40% and i have mine on monday and tuesday (like most other catholic schools).

Maths overall makes up 20%, and this trial makes up 20% of maths. :. .2*.2=.04=4% of total hsc.

wow. u've still got 10 days...
...when did/do your trials start? (i.e. first trial)
at my school (and for most catholic schools) they started last monday (at least i'm in yr11 so i don't have to worry about it for another year )
