Just wondering on the people who enrolled into B MedSc, what units are you doing for your first and second semesters?


First Semester:

Intro to Anatomy And Histology
Biodiversity
Principles of Chem
Physics 1

Second Semester:

Intro to Information Technology
Intro to Human Physiology
Cell Biology
Medicinal Chemistry

You can't do Chem 1 mate, with the new med sci program.

thanx wooz , i saw the post in the other thread of mine... i really wanted to do a more advanced level of chem and bio because i did the HSC course and its so similar.

Chem 1 is a pretty general chem unit and alot of it was irrelevant to med sci, so that's why applied chem has been created for med sci students. It isn't necessarily any easier just more relevant, you'll also get the opportunity to do more advanced chem subjects or major in medicial chem in med sci.
