i went to miranda. basically there are three different regular testers. one lady who is fairly nice and doesn't mark ultra hard, one guy who seems strict but doesn't seem too bad, and of course: dragon lady (as she is affectionately known throughout the shire) terribly hard marker.
you've already got a disadvantage seeing as you are male, and dragon lady is reputed for her tendency to fail males sheerly for 'attitude'. so when you go for the test try and seem as humble and cautious as you can.
aight there are bout 3-4 different routes they take. what i suggest is getting a few professional lessons. i had ABC i think. the good thing is that the instructors know every route they do. so if you get a couple of lessons they will basically take you through a mock test on each route, which is invaluable for confidence on the day.
one thing to remember for the reverse park - the park is correct if it is WITHIN 1M OF THE CURB. that is a huge huge amount. but don't complain, its just the way its marked, so exploit that! if you get a pro lesson they will probably know that, but i can't help but reveal such an amazing loophole haha. so really, 1m is a huge distance so don't try and get too close if its gonna take too many movements or end up with you not straight.
in summary get a few pro lessons, bigger/long established companies are more likely to know the routes. i don't know if its possible to choose which tester you have, unless someone on here somehow remembers the roster. hope that helps
