Explain the particle model of light in terms of photons with particular energy and frequency
what do they mean by frequency ? is it the number of photons per second or something to do with the Electromagentic wave ?

and are photons part of the electromagnetic spertruim, if so wouldnt that make them waves ?

:teacher: :jedi: :D ...sorry just discovered smilies :D

photons are quantised packets of EMR, it is known 2 b part of the partical theory of light. currently theres a duality of theories regarding teh nature of light(wave+particle) as they each can explain certain phenomenons. frequency is freq. of the EMR... varying freq. would also vary the energy of each photon, given by plancks eqn E=hf. number of photons depends on the amplitude of the waves.
