has anyone got that new virus yet? (i think its new?) one of my friends has it..msn automatically sends this line of text

"LOL Look at this!"

and then sends a link with your email in it, and if u click it it tries to download something and then you get it as well.

dont click the link is my advice!

For some reason, whenever I click a link like that, the mess.be site redirects me to the main page. Very annoying.

i have that version... but i didn't patch it
that was the version i downloaded off the msn site...

On the left hand side theresa "mess patch" download that. Its a cumulative patch which fixes a whole lot of things.

is der anyway to get rid of those annoying tabs on the left hand side on msn 7.0777
like ebay/trravel and all that?

yup go to Tools -> options -> security -> and check this is a shared computer, dont display tabs



Now on the subject of patches.
they are technically illegal but MS dosent seem to care
