well international law has both desputes between individuals and indiuviduals and the state.

for 12, the rule of law is that no one is above it, so police discretion would mean that the police could chose who broke the law as in question 6, i put D because then the police are answerable to the courts

I got the same as you except for 14 which I put c) Legal. Fuck I have no idea why.

Some torts may have a public ELEMENT, but that does not make it public, international was the answer for that, and besides, dont believe anything off wikipedia...

Yep 14 is (C) Legal, fuck! When I think about it, it would have been so simple to get 15/15

I was told by a Legal Senior Marker at my school that 14 was (B) and 15 (D). But she hadn't had the paper that long. Still, torts are definitely, and as the question states, commonly, both public and private; my textbook says it too.

I think it's because they are private, but they include negligance, and that a criminal thing? I'm making up stuff, correct me if im wrong... Number 14 would be right to work, econmic isnt it? There's the other bit, but is that a legal right?

I've read the forums and I think these are the rights answers. There is some confusion with 15 however. I am quite sure it is indigenous however. See the law and society post for my reasoning.
