with sketching the curve 1672459869830.png [how tf are you supposed to do latex bruh], why are there suddenly values of y>4 and y<=0 but no values 0<y<4? How to explain when writing range for function? Thanks in advance :)

Consider this graph:

If we had a range of 0<y<4, that would mean that the graph is restricted on vertical. We can observe that the right and left top components are on a H.A, therefore, the graph still progresses to + infinity but doesn't touch 4; only approaches it.- hence, the range will be restricted at 4 {y>4}. the remaining component of the graph touches the origin and then moves towards -infinity, this means that our range for this part of the graph will be y<=0 - Note that range doesn't have to be in that exact form of inequality that you stated previously. You're simply stating where the graph approaches on the y-axis (ie range).

First, off focus on differentiate that we will have and if you differentiate it again then we will have , here if you have then the answer will be negative which means that is a maximum turning point and when . As such there is no values between 0 and negative 4. Now when you add 4 shift everything up by 4 and there you have answered your own question.

I think that's a du question 4x^2/x^2-1
