leehuan Well-Known Member Joined May 31, 2014 Messages 5,805 Gender Male HSC 2015 Feb 9, 2016 #2 Whilst the IUPAC name did get changed (for reasons not even my chemistry teacher knew), I'm pretty sure we agreed both notations were acceptable. (However I slowly adapted into the new version)
