NAS? The 3U V Art course?? (1 Viewer)

Hey did anyone apply for the NAS (National Art School)?
(the extra one unit is a non uai tho...)
If yes, have you got a letter/ response from the NAS yet?
cos I applied and I haven't got it.
Not that I want to do art anymore since it's too stressful...
Thought I'm coming top for 3 years...*sighs*
Damn my crappy time management and art theory!!!

I applied for it....tic tic tic tic tic tic...no response as of yet! I had no ides what to apply for, so this was how it turned out..

Although if i do get into i'd say it would be for the painting cos the printed image i entered was pretty well, not as nice as the painting.

Same case as u, but i applied for painting, printing then drawing.
Yeh, I had a flash on when i took the photos... so they don't look as good.

i loved the second part, but i thought the first part was a bit of a waste of time

I wouldn't say it was a waste of time, I had fun in both installments, but they were very different!

Why isn't it recognised as a 3 unit art course to be counted in our UAI's? That's a bit slack!

hmm.. apparently the results for drawing is out already, since my teacher told my frd that she got into the drawing course. You might wanna ask your teacher to e-mail to the NAS. =)

May I ask what other subjects do you guys do besides VA?
Cos I'm doing 14 units (3U maths, adv Eng, SOR1, Geog, VA, Phys & Chem) and I have to drop sth for yr 12 (aint gonna cope with 14 units!)
so.... hmm... what did u guys get for ur VA uai??
Cos I'm thinking of NOT doing the NAS course (which means i dont do art next year) as I'm that type of person who has poor time management and leaves her work till the last minute.

ok you don't have to listen to me, but i'll just say this anyway.

i have the worst time management, and i'm chose to do 3 majorworks. i finished one already (society and culture)... that was done last minute. now i'm doing art and english last minute.. both at the same time! pretty hectic. but if you have one major you will be fine!

you should drop a subject you don't like. if i were you i'd drop chem, only because i do it and i hate it. i've been wanting to drop it but never did, and now it's so close to the end there's no point.

Everyone was nagging the teacher (besides me and someone cos ther others were nagging about it anyway! lol) about the result so she e-mail NAS and asked. But NAS was still sorting out the ppl who got in (that was about 3 days ago btw) but on Friday the school got a letter from the NAS and the names of students who got in is in that letter =)

By the way for the ex- NAS students... did u guys do 3U Art? That extra non-aui unit?
