Any thoughts?

I am quite excited about this car even though I doubt I'll ever own one. It shows the Aussie car manufacturers are still innovating in their segment but finally taking advantage of their mothership's arsenal of technology and parts. The look is also not bad, but I think the interior switchgear looks really impressive if it makes it into the <$40k family car range.

The design looks like a VE with the rear and front end of a slightly smaller car, looks a little odd to me at the moment. I think HSV will have to go all out with their new models given the VF doesn't look aggresive in the slightest. The interior does look nice though. Fingers crossed it's managed to lose atleast 100kg but i really doubt it.

While on the topic of Aussie car manafacturers it will be interesting to see the succesor to the FG falcon. It goes completely against what you are praising Holden for but i really hope Ford Australia holds out on using worldwide platforms or parts and makes one last RWD car with a straight 6 and turbo option. It'd be great if they could drop a little weight too and use a nice twin-scroll turbo or something on some FPV or XR6T variant.

I think I like the muscular look of the VE more tbh.
