ha anyone considered getting a bike (motorbike that is!) instead of a car due to the rising fuel cost.
what is the general sort of savings that can be made?
i think at the moment depending on where you live and what you do (work etc) it is a very serious option.
also its easy to get your licence, but i think seeing i live on a shitty dirt road and having no balance i'd probly end up killing myself...
has anyone made the change?
what are the pro's and con's
is it worth it...

car = big fuel tank expensive + more things to go wrong
bike = tiny fuel tank, more efficient + bikes are much more simple than cars, easy to fix.
Licence for a bike is piss easy to get, if you can go in a straight line keeping the bike in an upright position and make basic turns, you can get them.

In all, bikes are a hell lot cheaper to run. If you don't mind the cold and the risk factor then good.

Car = probably more expensive to run, more likely to live
Bike = probably cheaper to run, more likely to die
