is there anyone that hasnt done ANY study for a subject whatsoever? like, not even opened a book for it yet cos its not going to count for them?

i havent touched any modern books since the trials....i have 12 units so its just not counting. mite scrape through with 60s-70s. who cares its not counting at all and i only need a uai of 65 (predicted =80).

who knows maybe my rank (4th) will bring the mark up a bit

anyone else in the same boat? not studying because of deciding a subject just wont count??

Nope, studying for everything coz i have 11 units :p But its ur choice not to study for modern but who knows, maybe u didnt do as well as u thought in an exam that u thought u did, and everyone else aced it? That means ur modern could count, besides u not studying for it at all ...

You could always take a stab and study what you think might be in the exam
for example last year some ppl just studied Weimar and didnt learn anything about Nazi Germany; fortunately there was a Weimar question. Perhaps this time you could just study Nazi Germany and forget about Weimar altogether? Or focus just on the war effort...Who knows, you might get lucky :p

I might read a bit after chem
but chances are modern wont count

when i studied for trials i still finished
half an hour or so early, and without studying
at all its gonna be an awfully long exam :(

There's too much entertainment in this world, leaving us no time to study ;)

err not very much, no....I got a bit depressed when my teacher just went through every essay I did and told me a zillion things that were wrong with it.
I think it will count, cos my final internal mark was 88 and I'm hoping to bump it up to low 90s. Unless I do fantastically in chem....

you're lucky. only do 10 units so i have to do well in everything or i die a slow and horrible death.
i advise you to study for modern becuase apparently it gets scaled quite well.

Why will you die? Its not like the HSC is the end of the world. I was stuffed long ago on Legal Studies (grr stupid Crime question) but I know I will get to Uni through other ways.

Pretty much the best thing anyone EVER said!

Study too much and you get mental indigestion.

90% comes from the class room, you just have to "unlock" your mind during an exam. Like a GIANT book.

Thats why you should NEVER study the day before or your brain goes into freak out mode trying to fit in all this extra stuff that is already hidden in there somewhere.

so give your brain some time to do its thing and have faith in your own ability!!!!

that's what I'm talking about.

physics is more important, i'll study half an hour before the test
in my car... i'll do an experiment, 'does cramming work?'
