Anyone think ECMT, at least, is ridiculously easy/boring? It seems like we learned the whole table thing in y10 for goodness sake. Please tell me we do more than make graphs and tables as well as say "oh well this bit of the graph means THIS! For goodness sake!

Obviously being the first week they will cover easy topics to ensure everyone is on the same level. Not everyone remembers the statistics topics they did way back in junior years.

Look at the UoS outline; you'll be doing other things like z-tests, t-tests, simple regression etc.

Sounds like you'll be lucky and find it to be a relatively straight forward subject

Ok maybe some advice is needed. Could I perhaps get away with adding science in second year? Or is the learning curve heaps steep from 1st to 2nd year comm or beyond? How would my time at usyd progress then? Also would it be heaps more difficult than straight comm? I'd do normal maths, normal chem (not that ace to do adv lol)... and how much more can I do lol?
