Who are the big guns this year for the top UAIs? Last year I had a general idea who to expect big things from, ie Laurie Field, but this year, it seems its very vague...anyone wanna place any bets?

There are a few who definitely deserve very high UAIs, but probably won't achieve them, because of the damned flawed HSC. *shakes angry fist*

Just remember people, this is no measure of intelligence.

So this list is basically FOR FUN. Remember that both the HSC and UAI are more of a rite of passage - once it's over it's over, and you'll probably forget all about it within a few years. But for now - please make votes clear to make my recording process easier, and enjoy!

In the lead so far with 6 votes is a tie between ~Rench~, Dreamerish and Slide_Rule. 2nd with 4 votes each is a tie between c_james, KFunk and wholovesmaths, and tying for 3rd with 3 votes each are Airness and kami.

Hmm...well, he certainly makes out that he's good. And by the sounds of his confidence in both the MX1 and MX2 exams this year I would agree with him. But I guess we'll find out in a few days' time

Oh yea: Rafy is another...I've seen his Economics advice and I wonder if he came top in the state but just isn't saying anything...

Yes, im a freak ball.
I think i even look freaked out today, the guy at the video store was like.. err you ok? Then he wiped off my $48 worth of late fees. , So it might of done something good for me.

gee, I used to work in a video shop in Newport... and they made me pay my late fees without any discounts, even though I bloody worked there. You're very lucky

I don't know ANYONE from my school (117 students) that is worrying about their HSC results / Uai Rank. Most people have no idea what they wanna do, and are gonna mooch off their parents for a few years...or take up a traineeship/apprenticeship

I am probably gonna be the only one on MSN at 6am on Friday morning trying to find out my HSC results... and When I do find out...I won't have anyone to complain to...!!!


I guess I could ring up and bitch about it to my boyfriend who would be asleep Damn not caring people...!!

good thing about having people at your school that don't care is that your subject ranks goes higher,,,therefore that does 'something' positive to your UAI
