I am planning to live on-campus; specifically at UQ. It'll be appreciated someone could share some insight on accommodation at uni

1. chances of receiving a spot?

2. best thing?

3. worst thing?

Anyone have experience with this?

Firstly, don’t apply to King’s College. Our former, god-awful head was from King’s – he was quite into boy’s clubs and unbalanced and illogical discipline. From the “young King’s gentlemen” I met at NAAUC (the annual college conference) they’re all very into sport, chauvinism and hazing. I can't really say much about the other colleges at UQ but since there are so many (more than 10 from memory) there's a rather large drinking culture and party scene.
