It varies, depending on which one you're talking about. Could be your Student# or your StudentID (ie first letter of your first name, four of your last, and three numbers), and they're now migrating to yet another system..

Passwords could be something you've set, or a random 2 letters they mailed to you (via real world mail) and your DOB...

...Just gotta try them all.

I think the first time you log on, its the first initial of your name, followed by the first 4 of your surname with three numbers. So, if you were John Bloggs, it would be jblog000 (or 123 or whatever). And the password is the one they give you; two random characters followed by your DOB.

Once you log in, you change your password somehow.

I tried the MQID and password for MQID and it doesnt work

i tried my student number and my new password from MyMq portal and it stilld oesnt work....

BTW i attempted this on the ECOn110 site

Anyone else having same trouble?

Try logging in there.

It seems if you try it on a subject specific login, it will refuse you, as the forums are closed for now.

i don't think there's much point to changing your password because it's just another to have to remember. because for some sites, like the careers site (i think), you can't change your password.
