I have an assessment on Industrial Chemistry. We haven't learned anything on it yet. There are two parts to this assessment. I have to:
A: Perform a first-hand investigation to gather information and describe the properties of a named emulsion and relate these properties to its use.
B: Perform a first-hand investigation to demonstrate the effects of soap as an emulsifier.
I have read up on emulsions but my text book and the sites I went on are not too clear. I have looked through other posts on boredofstuidies but didn't anything useful. For the first part I am thinking about doing it on milk or mayonnaise or butter, but I don't even know what I am supposed to do. I don't know the properties, nor the properties that make them useful and how; I don't know how to test the properties.
Can someone who has done this before please help me?
