Yeah this post is a bit late considering application close in less than 2 hrs....
I'm really confused, wtf is open university like is it a legitimate thing????? Is it only online and would you get a genuine degree at the end??

Yes, you get a real degree, but the degree options are usually limited to things that can be done by correspondence.

I'm pretty sure they charge full fees so it might be expensive. It's probably better to wait around for a UAC offer as you'll be getting a CSP (HECS) and you'll be able to enjoy campus life (if COVID permits). The range of degrees offered on campus is probably wider as well.
