so...what do you guys think?

i've been tearing myself up over which course to do.
i know optometry's more focused and comm/sci is broader, more flexibility etc.
which is the better option?

What are you motivations for doing either optometry or com/sci?
How do you feel about moving away from Sydney?

Optom for sure. Easy cushy job, good pay, relatively interesting uni course.

Optometry. Commerce is a far more popular degree, hence more competition. I'd definitely go for optometry.

Optometry is a tightly regulated profession, hence better conditions and way better money than most commerce grads. Nearly anyone can do a commerce job without a professional qualification bar accounting or actuarial (which is not offered at USYD).
