Other alternative pathways into Med? (1 Viewer)

Hi, after a disappointing first try at UMAT (53, 54, 47)
I'd like to know what'd be the best, and preferably fastest way into medicine, at let's say, UWS.
I checked the UWS site, and from the looks of it, I could get away with a 1 year undergrad course and swap to med if I maintain a GPA of 6, which doesn't sound too bad?
If so, does the course have to be medicine/science related, or can I just choose a course that I'd be interested/do well in?

You essentially reapply and you go through the hoops of UMAT and interview just like what you are doing this year. So you can choose what you want to study and get a high GPA.
