Outliers wont get pulled down so long as they remain outliers throughout their internal and external assessments.Q. If around 2-3 people are much better than the majority of the cohort, in this case Standard English, will they still be dragged down? Or is that only for first place?
Like maybe guys who are 8-10%+ beyond the rest of the pack. But enoil, when I speak of outliers, what would you consider that to be in terms of margins and such?
I wouldn't exactly call that an outlier. After all, at some school such as mine, marks are out of 40 so only 3-4 mark differences can mean the difference between of 10% and it's not so big.Like maybe guys who are 8-10%+ beyond the rest of the pack.
Did she get dragged down a lot though by the cohort?in my cafs class we had the dumbest people ever (no idea why they went to school.) I came first, my friend came 2nd and she BEAT me in the hsc (higher exam mark)
it all comes down to your performance in the HSC.
i wouldn't worry too much.
obviously not. my assessment mark was 95, hers was 94. There were people in my cohort who did so badly in general, they weren't eligible to get an atar.Did she get dragged down a lot though by the cohort?
