Hi,
I need an hsc expert to answer this question, are the school allow to tell you what marks OVERALL you got for a subject and your OVERALL rank for a subject and is this legal ? Some said yes and some said no. Can someone please give me the correct answer ?

The school is allowed to disclose your rank but not your overall raw assessment mark

Correction: The school is allowed to disclose whatever it wants, but the Board recommends to schools that they do not disclose the actual assessment marks.

However, the Board requires schools to provide you with your assessment ranks.

yeah u have to get given ur ranks, they dont have to tell u ur assessment mark altho its very easy to work it out i hav done so for all my subjects and a few of my teachers hav confirmed that i was right.
they dont always giv u ur actual mark in case u want to dispute it and also the bored of studies does their moderating, aligning bull shit anyway... so its more ur rank that is important.
