the NEW P4C's are,
the ones with 800FSB's, northwood .13u, hyperthreading (HT)
best bang for your buck?
go for the 2.4C (like me
)
O/Ced the baby to 3.3GHz (+1.1 isn't bad!)
compared to the prices of current 3.06 and 3.2GHz P4's.
sorry to say, but the P4C's are killing AMDs in terms of "overclockability" nowadays
Pentium 4 2.40GHz CPU - S478, 512kb, 800MHz, HT $311.50
compared to/with:
Pentium 4 3.20GHz CPU - S478, 512kb, 800MHz, HT
$1171.00
now that's value for money!
(air cooled, only added a new hsf to it but the stock hsf would have been suffice... and a new case, this box runs as cold as ice!)
