Overt and Covert (1 Viewer)

Hey Guys^^

I was wondering if you guys can tell me the meaning of these two concepts.
I have looked in my Macquarie Text Book but it doesn't give me the exact concept.

overt is industrial action that is highly visible, direct, and aimed at gaining max awareness to get their point through like picket lines (could be used by both employer or employee), strikes, stop work meetings

covert is indirection action in order to support a case, that is aimed to cause disruption. usually done by employees like absenteeism sabotage, staff turnover or exclusion from decision making (usually used by employers)
