A poker hand of five cards is dealt from a standard pack of 52. Find the probability of obtaining one pair.
The answer is 352/833 could somebody explain how to get this answer

Damn, just recognised that off by heart, since I avidly play poker at recess/lunch during school. Gambling Induced OFC (LM if you lose). The reason why I remember is that people remember the odds and are always mentioning the odds, like 'I have a 42.25% chance of winning If I get a pair this round". And I was bluffing, had a Four of A Kind. Remember to shroud yourself.

That left me dumbfounded and had no idea to do it mathematically.

This guy explains it really well, his accent is a great bonus. So you and I both learned here.
